User guide

Installing, licensing and using QuickWake in Rhino 8, and how far its numbers can be trusted.

Getting started

  1. Install. In Rhino 8, run PackageManager, search for QuickWake, click Install and restart Rhino.
  2. Open the panel. Type QuickWake, or click the W on the QuickWake toolbar. The panel opens and the command line shows the version.
  3. Enter your licence key. Click Licence at the top right of the panel and paste the key from your e-mail.
  4. Choose the hull. Select the hull in the viewport and click Use selected object on the Setup tab.
  5. Set the loading. Enter the mass and the centre of gravity, then check the speeds.
  6. Run. Click Run sweep. The Results tab fills as the speeds finish.
